Players are not permitted to run with the ball, though they can bounce (dribble) the ball if they elect to move around the court while in possession. Both teams are able to occupy the same areas
on the court; it is a game of maximal participation and no player on either team is restricted from getting the ball whenever it is in play. Each player is allowed to shoot the ball (into the hoop) at any
time and from anywhere on court during play. All players have a duty to avoid contact. However, with ten players constantly moving rapidly in such a confined space, contact inevitably occurs. |
