7) OVERCARE FOR THE WELFARE OF OTHERS
CHICORY (Cichotium intybus)
Chicory, or Succory, grows in sandy soils through wasteland and roadsides. It has characteristic tough, twig-like stems with large, blue, star flowers the size and shape of a dandelion. They quickly fade when picked.
Tendency to be overpossessive and demanding. Wants others to conform to their standards, values, and expectations. Martyrdom. Can become critical, bossy, imposing. Dislikes being alone, and prefers loved ones near. Controlling, manipulating. Conditional love.
Mothering, relationship issues, liver disorders, anorexia, and bulimia.

VERVAIN (Verbena officinalis)
Otherwise known as Herb of Grace, this flower is a robust perennial, found growing on roadsides and sunny pastures. The pale lilac flowers have many traditional uses particularly in ritual and ceremony.
Over enthusiasm, forceful, and overbearing tendencies. Argumentative and opinionated. A strong persuader. Uses much energy in converting others to own doctrines. Must learn acceptance and tolerance of others.
Muscular tension, strain, headaches, hyperactivity, moral fanaticism. Angina.

VINE (Vitis vinifera)
A climbing plant growing over 15m in warmer climates. The green fragrant flowers appear as dense clusters depending on the region.
A dominating and inflexible personality, demanding authority and obedience. Competitive, cruel and manipulative. High expectations of others. Must learn to give to others by inspiration, strength and support.
High blood pressure, back/neck/shoulder tension, large stature, stiffness of joints, arthritis.

BEECH (Fagus sylvatica)
One of the larger British trees, it grows to enormous heights with massive trunks. Male and female flower clusters hang from groups of tough dark green leaves and flower in spring. It is known as "Mother of the Wood".
Critical and intolerant of others and their ideas. Arrogant disposition. Irritable, intolerant and dissatisfied; seeing only the negative side of things. Perfectionism. Annoyed at others idiosyncrasies. Pettiness, and pedantic tendencies. Must develop sympathy, empathy, and compassion.
Tension of the upper chest, jaws, arms. Teeth grinding.

ROCK WATER (Aqua petra)
Although not a flower, this is springwater that has been filtered through natural rock faces and through trees and grass. This is thought to be curative and most powerful as a remedy itself.
For those who are hard on themselves; unrelenting, overworking, self-denying. Repression of the self. Self governed by strong values to act appropriately toward others. Wanting to set perfect examples to others. Strict personal regimes, causing unnecessary suffering.
Compulsive dieting, strict morality, fitness fanaticism, rigid self-imposed standards.
